You will become an integral part of the Virginia Beach community.
You will show your friends and family that you are ready to step up and help your community. Your training will cover medical and traumatic emergencies, but sometimes the biggest difference you can make is just holding someone's hand when they're frightened. You'll learn to drive our fleet of ambulances with lights & sirens and with the due regard for the public and bystanders. You'll meet fellow volunteers from all walks of life and make life-long friends. You will become a leader among your peers with unique skills and training opportunities. At the end of each shift, you'll know you made a difference in someone's life.
