Ocean Park Volunteer Rescue Squad welcomes new members who are ready to serve their community. Whether you are interested in serving as an Emergency Medical Technician or supporting our mission behind the scenes, there is a place for you at OPVRS.

No EMS experience? No problem. We provide the training you need to become a certified Emergency Medical Technician at no cost to you.

Already certified as an EMT, Advanced EMT, or Paramedic? Your previous training can help you move more quickly toward serving on an ambulance with our crews.

You do not have to live in Virginia Beach to volunteer with OPVRS. Our members come from throughout Hampton Roads and beyond, including North Carolina.
