Utility 1 is equipped to handle a multitude of emergencies and serves in a first-response capacity to high-acuity medical calls. U1 is equipped with water rescue and wilderness rescue equipment due to Ocean Park's geographic location being surrounded by water and the First Landing State Park's vast spans of forest.
